It is most unfortunate that the Old Jewish cemetery was the victim of a senseless act of vandalism. In June of 2007 over 40 headstones were either toppled or vandalized. With the help of Mayer Alvo and the JCC, we worked to reinstall and repair all of the stones damaged. Below are just a few of the stones affected. Laurin reset and repaired all of the stones within 4 weeks of the incident.
